Additional Seven Lives Many Faces (2 CDs) Information

2008 Limited Edition includes bonus disc. Seven Lives Many Faces is Enigma's seventh album. This album expands the sound catalogue of previous releases and it is expected to lead to a new Omni-Cultural wave. The lead single "Seven Lives" is a powerful fusion of modern and classical elements. Enigma is an Electronic musical project founded by Michael Cretu, David Fairstein and Frank Peterson in 1990. Cretu is both the composer and the producer; his former wife Sandra often provided vocals on Enigma tracks. Jens Gad co-produced and played guitar on three of the Enigma albums.17 tracks.

What Customers Say About Seven Lives Many Faces (2 CDs):

This is not my favorite Enigma CD, and I have many. There are only two songs I really like.

It's Enigma, of course it's going to be great. The heavy industrial keyboards on "Hells Heaven" and soft budding beats on "Downtown Silence" show that Cretu is making excellent progress with The Alchemist (a workstation he's composed the last 2 albums with).

On this new album, Cretu goes for a "worldbeat" feel, which implements many of the cultural elements he's woven throughout his music already. Of all the Enigma albums I can compare it to, I'd say this is most similar to The Cross Of Changes.

Its recommended to buy the double disc edition of this album, as there were several instrumentals composed for this album. Yet this album is a return to form.

After the mostly vocal-free A Posteriori, this album brings back many of the beautiful voices and melodies as before, this time including his own children on "The Same Parents." Highlights include the almost hip-hop influenced "7 Lives", and "La Puerta Del Cielo" evokes the classic "Return to Innocence" with the voice of a beautiful woman chanting throughout, while the music ebbs and flows along with her. What more can be said.

But still, this album got its own.taste. well ofcourse its another beautiful album from Enigma. I'm giving it 4 starts only because I've missed the 'dark mist' that covers their songs in their previous albums. I love most of the songs. Thanks Engima for this wonderful music.

at first I was not sure about this version, but then I could not stop listening, once I took the time to hear the brilliance of the work.

I am not going to get technical nor compare this to any other Enigma album. I just want to say that I loved it the moment I heard and it cant stop playing it. It is shaping up to be easily my favourite since MCMXII. Je T'aime till my dying day and Deja Vu are my current stand out faves. An absolute must by for all Enigma fans.
